Isabel dos Santos with 200 million euros to buy Efacec
The Angolan businesswoman proposes to buy a majority stake in Efacec Power Solutions for EUR 200 million, reports the Economic Daily.
The negotiations are already at an advanced stage between Isabel dos Santos, the Mello family and the creditor banks of the company that was created to aggregate the assets of Efacec. The paper said that the process can be completed soon.
The State Grid, Chinese company with REN’s control, have bowed out.
Isabel dos Santos should be especially interested in engineering Efacec. According to the Economic, the daughter of the Angolan president will want to take advantage of the know-how and the company’s technology to enhance engineering skills infrastructure investment in Angola.
The operation can be achieved by of a capital increase with subscription of new shares.
