The European Commission (EC) on Wednesday gave the green light to the acquisition of Indáqua, water supply company down, by Mota Engil and the German company Talanx.
The Directorate-General for Competition considers that “the proposed acquisition would not raise any competition concerns, to the extent that the joint venture has limited activities in the EEA.”
The activity centered Indáqua in the collection, treatment, water distribution and wastewater treatment, by the municipal concessions and public-private partnerships.
The company has the funding grants from local catchment, treatment and distribution water in Fafe, Santo Tirso and Trofa, Fair, Porto and Vila do Conde and participates in public-private partnership of the municipal company of water distribution and wastewater collection S. João da Madeira.
