National leadership of the PSP and unions gathered urgency – LUSA

The National Directorate of Public Security Police called urgently today the presidents of the police unions for a meeting, told Lusa agency a source of PSP.

This emergency meeting called by management National PSP occurs on the day that the Minister of Internal Affairs, Anabela Rodrigues, starts with the unions PSP negotiations on the future employment status with amendments proposed by the Government are generating discontent among the police.

The Trade Union Association of Police Professionals (ASPP-PSP) is the first union to be received by Anabela Rodrigues, who earlier this month presented the union structures the proposed amendment to the employment status of the PSP.

All PSP unions were against the proposal, arguing that, after the disclosure of the document, it generated a climate of “instability, dissatisfaction and anger” among the police.
