The chief executive of Galp Energia, Manuel Ferreira de Oliveira, received a gross remuneration of 1.53 million in 2014, according to the government report corporate Oil.
Of the total amount received by the manager, about one million euros corresponds to fixed remuneration, 191 thousand euros variable compensation and still 267 thousand euros title plan retirement savings. According to the document, the second portion of variable compensation, also in the amount of 191 thousand euros will be paid later.
The second highest paid manager in Galp last year was Luís Palha da Silva, who also announced on Friday that does not return to integrate the lists for a new term, with revenues of 700,000 euros, of which 490,000 euros of fixed remuneration and variable component of rest and retirement savings.
This as in previous years, the chairman of the board (chairman), Américo Amorim, abdicated to receive any remuneration.
In total, members of Galp Energia’s board of directors received 5.33 million euros last year, of which four million fixed remuneration to EUR 578 thousand euros as variable remuneration and 735,000 euros in retirement savings plans.
In a statement sent on Friday evening the Committee on Securities Market (CMVM), Galp Energia announced that “Manuel Ferreira de Oliveira, vice president of the board of directors and chief executive officer” and “Luís Palha da Silva, vice president of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee (…) informed the Board of Directors “that” did not intend to integrate the lists for any corporate body “of the oil at the next general meeting of the company, which is elective, called for April 16.
On 16 April, Galp’s shareholders in general meeting will elect the new governing bodies of the national oil company, controlled by Amorim Energia, whose shareholders Américo Amorim, Sonangol and Isabel dos Santos.
