Dili, March 23 (AFP) – The trial of former Minister of Timorese Finance, Emilia Pires, was postponed today after the presentation by the defense of various resources for alleged irregularities, including the marking of the same hearing today.
At issue, he said the agency Lusa defense source, are resources for the investigation of the case, including the fact that Emilia Pires never been questioned and the Dili Court ignore a prior opinion of the Court of Appeal.
Emilia Pires is accused of crimes of economic participation in business and maladministration, for acts allegedly occurred when he was a minister.
