New owners of TAP predict profits for 2016 – Business Journal – Portugal

David Neeleman, part of the consortium that won the privatization of TAP, said this Wednesday, June 24, which states that in 2016 the airline back to profitability.

In a press conference, the American businessman said that the investment will be done could reach 800 million euros.

Under the proposal that the Gateway consortium presented the investment would be in the order of 600 million, of which 345 million in permanent capital and another 250 million in financing for the purchase of new aircraft.
