Politicians and trade unionists urge workers TAP to continue … – Daily News – Lisbon

Political and union leaders today urged the workers of TAP to continue to fight against the privatization of the company on the grounds that the case is not closed and secured them all the support.

Members of PCP Miguel Tiago and Bruno Dias, Representative of the Left Bloc (BE) Mariana Mortágua, the leader of MRPP, Garcia Pereira, and the Historic POUS Carmelinda Pereira joined the TAP employees in Luis de Camões Square, next to the Ministry of Economy.

In the early morning, the purchase and sale of 61% stake in TAP, had been signed at the Ministry of Finance, among members of the Government and responsible Gateway consortium, winner of the privatization of the airline .

More than a hundred workers of TAP manifested themselves in the early afternoon in Lisbon against the privatization of the company and promised to do everything possible to reverse the process.

Although the contract purchase and sale of TAP have signed, workers and their supporters were unanimous in considering that the process is not closed and can still be caught.
