The euro rose against the dollar today, the day it was announced that industrial production rose 0.7% in the eurozone in October over the same month last year.

Industrial production increased 0.7% in the eurozone in October over the same month last year, today indicated Eurostat. Compared to September, industrial production increased 0.1%.
According to the data released by the European Bureau of Statistics, the monthly variation, the increase in industrial production in the euro area is justified by the improvement of 3.7 % in non-durable consumer goods, 1.4% in the production of capital goods and 0.2% in durable goods, while production of intermediate goods decreased 0.4% and energy 2.5%.
In the United States, the producer price index fell 0.2% in November.
