Exports increased most of the year in October – Express

Portuguese exports increased 9.4% in 0utubro 2014, compared to the same month in 2013. This is, incidentally, the largest monthly growth since the earlier this year.

According to the National Statistics Institute, this growth is mainly due to trade out of space of the European Union and has to do mainly with an increase observed in the sale of vehicles and other transport equipment, as well as mineral fuels and agricultural products

.

Imports, meanwhile, rose 1.2%, also largely a result of trade with countries outside Europe
