The net profits of Sony fell to 77,6% between April and September News Journal

Sony announced A net profit of 26 billion yen (226 million euros) between April and September, the first half of the fiscal year in Japan, which translates to a decrease of 77.6% year-on-year counterparts.

The fall of the profits of the giant of the electronics of Japan, which has been disposing of assets as part of a restructuring, was due to the appreciation of the yen and the losses related to the sale of one of their business in batteries, and to the worst performance of the branch of mobile phones.

The operating profits of Sony amounted to € 101.900 million yen (886 million euros), less of 44.9%, while the revenues from sales decreased by 10.8%, in annual terms the previous year, to 3.3 billion yen (28.718 million euros), said the company, with headquarters in Tokyo.
