PSD and CDS-PP presented on Monday a diploma to require banks to issue an annual invoice-receipt itemizing all the costs associated with each account order and condition the charging of fees to effective service delivery .
The parties of the parliamentary majority also plan to ensure access to designated minimum banking bills, forcing all banks to make them available and allowing, when the first holder has over 65 years or is dependent on others, may have the second holder someone who already has another account.
This bill concerning the commissioning of deposit accounts to the order was introduced in the Assembly by members of the PSD Republic Duarte Pacheco and Carlos Silva and CDS-PP Vera Rodrigues and Cecilia Meireles, as a means of increasing transparency and competition in the banking sector. Will be debated in plenary on 19 together with opposition diplomas.
