Minister of Portugal Defense starts Tuesday two-day visit – José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, Portuguese defense minister, is expected Tuesday in Sao Tome capital, where he will start a two-day working visit at the invitation of the authorities of Sao Tome and Principe.
According to the official program, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco has scheduled meetings with the President of the Republic of São Tomé and Principe, Manuel Pinto da Costa, and with Prime Minister Patrice Thunderstorm.
It also included a meeting with José I mean, President of the National Assembly and the other with Carlos Stok, defense minister and the Sea, with whom José Pedro Aguiar-Branco must sign a new cooperation agreement in the area of defense.
Under the same visit, Aguiar-Branco will offer two boats to patrol the exclusive economic zone of the archipelago.
Aguiar-Branco visit follows the stay in the country, there are about two weeks, Luís Campos Ferreira, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal, who agreed with the STP authorities a new Indicative Cooperation Programme.
