China’s industrial production increased 6% in July – China Radio International

The industrial production value of China, an important economic indicator, grew by 6% annually in July, less than the increase of 6.2% recorded in June, show the official data released on Friday.

In the first seven months, industrial production increased by 6% over the same period in 2015, said in a statement the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
 

The industrial production index is used to measure the activity of large enterprises with annual income of at least 20 million yuan (US $ 3 million).
 

The industrial production of the central regions gained 7.6% in July, following a 6.7% of the eastern regions and 6.6% of the West.
 

The production of automobile manufacturing recorded a stronger growth of 22.9% in July, and production of electronic manufacturing increased by 12%, according to the NBS.
