In mid-August, the National Statistics Institute (INE) reported also in previous European System of Accounts (SEC1995), which the Portuguese economy grew 0.6% in the second quarter compared with the first of this year and 0.8 % over the second quarter last year.
With the release of the quarterly results of the update rate of GDP growth from 1995 until the second quarter of 2014, according to the statistical parameters of the SEC2010, INE has reviewed today’s high GDP growth by 0.1 percentage points in the second quarter, year on year.
The index of turnover in the industry recorded a negative nominal year growth of 0.8% in July, compared with an increase of 4.9% in June .
According to the INE, both for the external market as the index for the domestic market, showed decreases in July, namely 1.4% and 0.4%, respectively, compared to increases of 5 4% and 4.5% in June.
For these decreases contributed to decreases in the indices of clusters of Energy and intermediate goods, which were 4.5% and 2.3% in July , respectively.
