GNR fined 959 drivers of goods vehicles during an operation five days to detect situations of tax evasion, said yesterday the corporation.
In a statement, the National Guard said that during the operation, called “Tribute” and took place between 15 and 20 September, 8,481 vehicles were inspected goods and detected 959 offenses.
According to the GNR, 303 offenses were related to the regime of goods in circulation, 31 for non-payment of vehicle tax
and the single tax, 74 for lack of inspection, eight for breach of special consumption taxes. For operation were mobilized 1,539 soldiers from Unit Fiscal Action and the territorial commands.
