From this Wednesday, families in more difficult economic situation will have access to more rights and guarantees. The borrowers of mortgage loans that are in default may elect to enter an extraordinary regime.
Even with these changes, the jurist DECO Carla Varela considers that the scheme continues to have criteria that leave out many families, and is still a regime “very restrictive access.”
