Pilots of German airline Lufthansa will conduct a strike on Tuesday after the failure in negotiations on the early retirement program, which suspend long-haul flights from Frankfurt, the news agency Reuters .
The union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) said on Monday that the A380, A330 and A340, Airbus and B747, Boeing, aircraft will not fly to Frankfurt. A spokesman for the union estimated that 70-80 flights will be affected. Lufthansa had no immediate comment.
