There is a casualty in the administration of Espírito Santo Financial Group (ESFG). This is Alain Morvan, member of the Board of Directors of the holding company of the old BES. The officer resigned from the post he held, with immediate effect.
This decision comes a day after five other officials had also knocked the door. On Thursday, an executive and four independent, also resigned from the positions they held in the organization with immediate effect.
The company, headquartered in Luxembourg, disclosed this information in two statements sent to the supervisor of the Portuguese market.
The names
in question are Philippe Guiral (administrator), and independent Bernard Basecqz, Fernando Pereira Coutinho (chairman of the audit committee), José Ruivo da Pena and Luis Daun and Lorraine, and the last two were part of the audit committee note to Lusa.
