A “mathematical error” conditioned the placement of thousands of teachers for this school year. The complaint is the National Association of Teachers Engaged (ANVPC). Concerned, according to ‘the public’ newspaper, is the formula to sort the teachers without bond that ran for Hiring School Bag (ECB).
The ECB will replace the offerings of school, Educational establishments Territory Priority Intervention (TEIP) and autonomy, which directly hired teachers missing after the placement of teachers frame and initial hiring teachers without bond. The intention of the Ministry of Education was precisely to eliminate any factors of subjectivity in the selection of teachers.
In the ECB, the classification of each teacher depends on the weighted average of 50 percent of professional degrees and 50 percent of curriculum evaluation. But ANVPC claims not to have been exactly like this, since professional graduation ended up having a weight lower than the curriculum evaluation.
“The value of 50 per cent given to curriculum evaluation does not explain the discrepancy of hundreds or even thousands of places on the list, “argues Paul César Israel, ca ANVPC.
Some teachers competed for over 200 schools and each of them, the same teacher occupied a different place in the list of placement.
“After putting many hypotheses’, the association believes that there is a “mathematical error.” “The MEC will have ignored the professional degree is a basic value of 20 [on a scale of absolute numbers and not a percentage] and amounted to 50% of this amount 50% of the percentage obtained in response to sub-criteria related to curriculum evaluation without converting one of quantities, “says Paulo César Israel.
The ANVPC now want to know the prices associated with each item response in each school and in each group of recruits, as well as the price per candidate, per school and per group recruitment. “Just so teachers can make comparisons and come up with a process of cohesive hierarchical resources, fair and objective, ‘says.
