UGT want to start negotiations on minimum wage this month – The Ball

UGT want the issue of raising the minimum wage is still debated this month, lamentand that the government has left out the theme of the meeting this afternoon social dialogue “without explanation.”

“The government did not respond to our concerns. Had promised to address this issue at the first meeting of social dialogue. Not listed out, without explanation, “said Carlos Silva in the Ministry of Economy for a meeting with Pires de Lima, with the merger of Refer to the Roads of Portugal on the agenda.

Government and social partners back this Tuesday for Social Dialogue to discuss the draft bill to reform the IRS and active employment measures.

In this issue, the CGTP has claimed the increase the minimum wage to 515 euros with effect from 1 June and UGT claims a minimum wage of 500 euros retroactive to July 1.
