2.5 million for work placements
Program plans to create in three years in 1500 handbags stages of finalists for Higher Education.

The bank Santander Totta estimated spend the next three years 2.5 million euros in 1500 with the establishment of traineeships for finalists of Higher Education, was announced yesterday by the bank’s president, António Vieira Monteiro.
The initiative aims to “strengthen university-business and foster the qualified youth employment “said António Vieira Monteiro. The total value of the scholarship is 1,650 euros, spread over three months, the fellow getting 550 euros per month. The action is “a source of recruitment for qualified companies,” said Sebastian Beltran, director of the office of the Presidency of the Santander Totta.
In the program, the bank will seek to be the link between the 80 000 companies whose customers and institutions of higher education. The operation of the program consists of the application of the companies receiving trainees. Companies prepare the internship plan and choose the trainees, who apply for the vacancies available in the portal stage of seat bags. To universities and polytechnics’s role is to confirm the veracity of the application, disclose the number of vacancies by the finalists and deliver the stock to the companies for the stage. At the ceremony, held at the headquarters of Santander, in Lisbon, were the leaders of the three organizations involved:. Antonio Rents (Council of Deans), Joaquim Mourato (Coordinating Council of Polytechnic) and José Duarte Redondo (Association of Private Higher Education)
