A total of 125 352 vehicles were produced in the first nine months of the year, of which 90,645 were passenger cars, 32,543 others were light commercial and heavy vehicles totaled 2,164 units.
Of the 125 352 units produced, 96.6% went for export (121 135), up 5.3% compared to vehicles exported in the same period last year, also reported the association of the automotive industry.
China and Germany were the main sales destinations, where followed respectively 21.6% and 16% of production in Portugal. Other important markets are France, which acquired 13.3% of the cars manufactured, and the UK, where they were sold for 10.1% of the units.
