In the past year, the port of Leixões received 84 cruise ships and 71.799 passengers, accounting for over seven scales, the inaugural and a new company.

Numbers that translate into a decrease of 1% in the number of cruises and of 9% in passengers compared to the year earlier. A break “justified by the smaller size of the ships received”, explains the Administration of the Ports of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo (APDL), in a statement.
