president of the United States, Donald Trump, signed on Monday an executive order to withdraw the country of the Association Agreement Transpacific (TPP), of which they are a part of the other eleven nations. The agreement was the result of seven years of negotiations between the countries and would remove customs barriers and taxes to expand the trade between the nations. The TPP brought together about 40% of the gross domestic product (GDP) world

Despite the agreement to have been negotiated during the tenure of ex-president Barack Obama, the TPP was never ratified by Congress, republican majority. The decision of Trump, in addition to strong symbolic effect, buries the agreement, because it is hardly discussed in Congress. According to the republican, the output of the negotiations on the TPP is "a great thing for the american worker". Trump, throughout the campaign, defended protectionist measures for the american economy, and now is putting his speech into practice.

The proposal of economic integration, championed by Obama, provided for the reduction or elimination of tariffs and other impediments to the movement of goods and services among member countries. Outside the United States, eleven nations of Asia, Oceania, North America and South America are part of the negotiations, including Japan, Mexico and Canada. With the departure of the american, even though the agreement is taken forward by other nations, it will lose strength.

In a ceremony today in the Oval office of the White House, Trump has also signed a decree that freezes hiring and federal guideline that prohibits non-governmental organizations american to receive federal funding to perform abortions abroad.
