Deutsche Bank climbs for the fifth session waiting for an agreement with the U.S. justice – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

the actions of The Deutsche Bank are to value, this Wednesday, October 5, for the fifth session in a row, at a time in which negotiations take place between the institution and the Department of Justice of the United States.

In question is the establishment of the fine that u.s. authorities intend to apply the the German bank due to the processes related to the “subprime”.

The securities will advance to 0.98% 11,86 euros, on the Frankfurt stock exchange, bringing to nearly 12.5% of the appreciation accumulated since the last Wednesday.

On 16 September, the shares of Deutsche Bank sank more than 8% after the bank confirm that the north american justice intended to impose a fine of 14 billion euros. A value that has fueled concerns around the financial health of the institution and its capacity to face the heavy penalty without resorting to a capital increase or the help of the State. This tension was reflected in the evolution of securities on the stock exchange, which recorded strong losses in four of the six following sessions.
