TVI and Meo agree to reduction of the price of the DTT – TVI24

TVI reached an agreement with Meo, PT Portugal, on the reduction of the prices to be charged in the contract of broadcasting services of Digital Terrestrial Television, better known by its acronym TDT.

The Meo and the TVI “came to an agreement, with respect to the reduction of the rates in the contract for the services of broadcasting of the DTT, has announced the channel of Media Capital, who is also owner of TVI24 and from this information site.

TVI believes it is essential to respect the principle of non-discrimination of prices in the services of terrestrial digital television broadcasting”.

Already official source of Meo said to the Lusa that, “taking into account the changes in the space occupied by each operator in the DTT, it was possible to reflect them in the prices charged under the contract TDT the efficiency gains that resulted from the optimization of the spectrum is used".
