Action game “For Honor” drops the split-screen mode – UOL

The action game “For Honor”, from Ubisoft, will no longer have a game mode in split screen. The information came from the producer of the game, Stephane Cardin, in an interview with us website IGN.

“we Decided to cut to split-screen this week”, explained the director. “It was a role that we love, but, when you look at what we need to do to support the online co-op play, it was crucial to take a decision now so that we can ensure all of the high level of quality and to deliver the best possible experience for players”.

The option to play “For Honor” split-screen was mentioned on more than one occasion by the developers of Ubisoft. In 2015, the director Jason Vandenberghe told the website north american Gamestop that this was an essential function of the game. “You want to sit next to her friend on the couch and beating him, this is the real”. The option to play “For Honor” split-screen was provided for all modes of the game.

“For Honor” comes out on February 14 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
