Comparajá raises 20 million. Grow is the mission – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

The ComparaJá.pt Portuguese platform that compares financial products, has raised a round of funding in the amount of 20 million euros to international investors like Mark Pincus, founder of Zynga, Peter Thiel, founder of Paypal, and the investment funds ACE & Company, the New Founders Capital or the Pacific Century Group.

José Figueiredo assumes also that this round of investment is also important for the investors that it brings, with vast knowledge in the sector. “We are looking for people that know the market. The company plans to extend its products in Portugal. José Figueiredo account that the start-up plans to launch the simulators to the field of telecommunications, until the end of February, and credit to housing by the end of this first quarter. Still in the course of the first six months of the year, the ComparaJá.en you want to launch simulations for car insurance.

The ComparaJá is already present in the external market, in particular, in the countries of northern Europe. With a team of around 80 people, about 20 are dedicated to the operation in the domestic market. The majority of the teams that work abroad is also headquartered in Lisbon.
